TALMO College
TALMO College is a Secondary School in a suburb of Kaduna, Nothern Nigeria. The College has an ongoing development plan to increase the number of students and add to the facilities.
At present there are 150 students, boys and girls, aged between 9 and 14. Most are day students but some are boarders. The College has a wide, balanced curriculum with the emphasis on developing the whole person by meeting academic, emotional and spiritual needs.
Future Plans and Needs
- Building of Assembly and Exam Hall
- Increase student body to 1000 and widen the intake ages
- Facilities to accommodate more students
- School room equipment and teaching aids
- Science laboratory and equipment
- Games and sports facilities
- More dormitories
The College has a clear vision to specialise in Science and Technology including IT. This is the start of their resource room showing some equipment Richard took out for them in 2006, some provided by A&D Instruments, Abingdon, UK, a client of Why Be Limited management consultancy.
